Scheming over colors

Due to the anticipated signing of my venue on Monday, I have begun working on my first inspiration board. I haven't let myself create one before now because I am kind of a perfectionist and I want it to be absolutely perfect. I believe that all elements of the wedding should work together, thus I shouldn't really be going for Spring colors during Fall or decorating with black and white in a location filled with warm rich accents. The board is not ready for the big reveal yet, but I can show you what I am mulling over for my color scheme....

It's not exactly right yet because this was made with Kuler instead of Photoshop (I can't seem to get a key from my Mom so I can reinstall it on my computer and I am missing it so much!) I would like the pink to be much paler (blush pink as it is commonly called), and I would like to add one more shade of green, but other than that, this is the look that I am currently going for. There will be barely any plum involved, probably just in my bouquet and the bridesmaids shoes, and I only want hints of pink throughout. Heavy on the ivory and black (of course!).

I love it so much! Any thoughts or suggestions?

I believe you are on the right track. Can't wait to see it all come together in your inspiration board.

I love seeing him in uniform! It's such a special treat!

I also wish I had photoshop on my computer so that I could play around with our engagement pictures more than my dad has been. I think if my computer will stop acting crazy I will download GIMP and see how that goes. Can't wait to show everyone the rest of them.

ami-I thought about grey, but won't it clash with the ivory? I am installing the trial version of photoshop and illustrator for my Europe trip, so I will give it a try and see how it fits.

I love these colors, but I feel they are more suited for a fall/winter wedding. Is that the timing we're going for? I'm sorry I can't remember you date :)
