The next stop in our wedding whirlwind adventure was my favorite antique store in all of Seattle. While browsing the aisles I passed by this postcard display. I haven't decided for sure yet, but there is a chance that I will be basing my guest book on this tree. We will attach vintage-eque postcards that we create using photos from Washington and Poland and have guests pluck their favorite option and write some well wishes. The postcards will be all ready with postage, and my mom will be in charge of dropping one or two in the mail every few days for us to collect over time.

That's a really neat idea.
For me, I found the idea for making our reception sign from shopping around at etsy and seeing a really cool halloween witch sign.
We also figured out how to pass out the programs after digging through our closet.
I love this idea!!! SO cool. I've never seen anything like it. Let me know if you need some extra Washington pictures :)
This is a fabulous idea, very creative and I have never seen it done before! I can't wait to hear more about plans!
jennah, why didn't you plan my wedding? what a wonderful idea!
It will be fun to be getting mail like that all year long. That is a great idea. I LOVE the photos your mom took of you in Europe. Gorgeous.
hello there!
i just start reading your blog and i absolutely love this idea--photos on a tree! i have seen people string photos on a clothesline like that which was cute, but i feel like it might be too casual for my wedding, but this would be perfect!
blab-What? I can't wait to hear how you are passing these programs out.
kelli-Oh, I forgot you have those Seattle pictures. Yay!
I got inspiration from this post! We decided to make a "Memory Tree" for our friend's shower after seeing your idea.

I originally came to your blog looking for bridesmaid hairstyle ideas and found one :) and then kept looking around. I really enjoy your posts.
