Outrageously Vintageous Baby!

As promised, here are some snapshots of the $40 eBay dress in action. It's really a sausage case more than it is a dress, as it took two people 5 minutes to get me zipped up inside of this thing. You know on how on Victorian movies the girl breathes a huge sigh of release when she is released from her corset? That is how I felt when I took it off. I would like to point out that I am sporting what I have affectionately nicknamed my little finals "Carb Induced Food Baby." I am also running low on conditioner and apparently I feel that the best solution to this is washing my hair less, not in fact, buying more of the $3 Aussie I use.

Let's just focus on the dress shall we? We are going to find out if the seams can be let out a little, because other than the tight tight fit I am pretty much loving it. It will look pretty fabulous on the streets of Rome in a few weeks. Doesn't the shot with the train connected make me look like I have a huge rear end, just like the dresses that the sisters of Cinderella wear? That is just one of the many reasons why I love this dress.

There also might be another, more modern, dress option in the works. I should have more information when we get everything figured out within the next few days.
