I did a nicer version for the hometown reception. Here is what the bun can look like when you take more than 3 minutes to do it.
The bottom fell out rather quickly, but That Husband (for he was That Husband by this time) wasn't very good at telling me what looked loose. I think I did this one in 6 sections total. Surprisingly, it does not look sticky and gross depsite the bottle of hairspray I sprayed on it.
I know styleish recreated this look one day (quite fabulously I must say), has anyone else given it a try?

I wish I could do my own hair. I am only capable of putting it in a pony tail. But not it's all chopped off, so I can't even do that!
