Green Wedding Shoes

To say I am geeking out over this might be a little bit of an understatement. As a bride blogger, I scoured the internet looking at every wedding I could get my hands on trying to find inspiration for the big day. Jen, of Green Wedding Shoes has taken elements from my wedding twice now and incorporated them into some inspiration boards she put together. Say what?

The first time it was a post about feathers:

Jen must have quite the inspiration folder of photos built up somewhere because her blog is fantastic! Look at this fun guestbook idea (in Jen's words):

This alternative wedding guestbook from the folks at melangerie encouraged guests to “air out” the bride and groom’s dirty laundry. Instructions inscribed on a detergent bottle prompted guests to write funny stories about the bride & groom on cards shaped like shirts, pants, socks, etc. Guests then clipped the cards to the “clothesline” which was strung at the reception entryway. What a fun idea!
