Here they are emerging from the temple as a newly married couple. I think we may have been a little bit too loud in our excitement. The shots of the ecstatic bride and groom walking out are always some of my favorites.
I wasn't able to attend the ceremony myself, as you must have a recommend granted to you by church authorities, and I won't receive mine until the day before my own wedding. Everyone says it was so beautiful though, and I'm really excited to see what she has come up with for the reception on Saturday.
One of the brides sisters and the adorable flower girls. It was hard not to take pictures of only them the entire time.
They were an hour late to the reception because formals took so long to take, which left the guests a little bit antsy, but we forgave her as soon as we saw her walk in wearing that adorable Banana Republic polka dot dress.
A nice reminder that you needn't spend $5/favor for it to be popular. I gave away my little bag of reeses pieces and people could not believe I would do such a thing. Some of the other BM's were hoping that there would be some no-shows so they could walk over to the other tables and steal another bag.
The father of the groom created a slideshow of photos of the couple growing up. They were actually really great friends growing up, and so they had all kinds of fun pictures at school dances in high school together. This reminded me how much I want some kind of a photo slideshow of my own. I am going to have entirely too many pictures not to do so.
My favorite shot from the day. I just love them!
